Year Anniversary

Much is being made in the media about the 1 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Although New Orleans receives all of the press it seems, there was alot of devastation in the surrounding areas (especially the Gulf Coast area of Mississippi).

One thing that I have not heard alot of talk about in relation to Katrina is the amount of data that was lost. In a storm like that many small businesses and churches lost all of their information. Off site backups did not help if the offsite house was destroyed too. That is something to keep in mind as we grow our churches. How important is our data and what will we do to protect it.

One of the best things I can recommend as far as a church database solution is Fellowship Technologies. With Fellowship Technologies you do not have to worry about backing up your data. They keep your data safe and on-line. If something happens to your church, then you can still get access to your data. Just something to keep in mind on this anniversary of a very devastating hurricane.
