Sharing OneNote notebook via Office 365 SharePoint

Microsoft OneNote and SharePoint 2010 make a great team. Our consulting team is utilizing this to document our SharePoint migration meetings with the site owners. These tools combined allow us to share a single set of notes from a central location. The great thing about this solution is that with the One Note client installed, I can modify the notes and sync those changes with the original document later.
Here it how to how to share a One Note notebook via SharePoint in Office 365 to create a team collaboration tool.

First I have a One Note notebook that I want to share with others:
Within One Note, select File, Share, and Network. For the Network Location, enter the URL for the Document Library that you wish to save the One Note Notebook to and select Share Notebook:

A dialogue box may appear asking for your login credentials to Office 365:

After the Notebook is uploaded a dialogue box appears asking if you wish to E-mail a link to invite others to work on this notebook:

This is a sample of what the invitation email looks like:

Please note that the user must have permission to the document library where the One Note notebook is stored to be able to access it.
That is it! We have now successfully shared our One Note notebook via SharePoint. I will cover some other examples and settings related to this in future posts.
